Bio

DION GUTHRIE has been a resident of Harford County living in the Joppatowne area for thirty-six years with his wife Dianna. They have six children and four grandchildren.

Mr. Guthrie has achieved 204 college credits and is a graduate of Antioch University with a BA degree. He also earned BA and AA degrees from McKendree School of Religion, and AA degree from Dundalk Community College. He graduated from the Harford Leadership Academy in 2000.

Dion Guthrie enjoys boating and golf. He also is very involved with helping handicapped children, as he has a grandson who attends John Archer School.

Mr. Guthrie serves on the Harford Cable Network Advisory Board (HCN), and the Susquehanna Region of the Workforce Investment Board of Harford and Cecil Counties where he serves on their Executive Committee, Business Service Committee, and Youth Council.

Dion Guthrie serves on the County Council representing District A, which includes Joppa, Magnolia, Joppatowne and Edgewood.
